Building a Life Foundation. It’s More Than Getting A Job

A Conversation with Martin Murrer ’81 & Rob Weiler ‘91

Veteran investment banker, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Marty Murrer ’81 will discuss how to build a foundation for “life” in a conversation with Rob Weiler '91, Associate Dean, MBA Program and former TCW Managing Director. Find out how Marty—who built his career foundation at Salomon, Goldman, DLJ, and Merrill Lynch—also found time to give back to his graduate institution UCLA Anderson and Catholic Charities of New York. Marty's professional mission is to help companies and inventors to attract and deploy capital to improve the health of others through better nutrition, medical advancements and cleaner cheaper energy. Get some valuable perspectives on how to successfully weave your personal values into your professional life.
