Colette Moore (’87)

Colette is the owner of the staffing franchise, PrideStaff, based in Culver City and serving greater Los Angeles. She strives to put “food on the table” for the PrideStaff associates and the businesses PrideStaff serves.  From temporary staffing to direct hire placement, Colette’s team helps clients to evaluate workforce needs and pay, and to source, interview and recruit qualified candidates for administrative, customer service, light industrial, warehouse and hospitality jobs.

Prior to owning the franchise, Colette worked as Vice President in Marketing at Disney Home Entertainment. She  has worked in mid-size and Fortune 500 companies (including Disney, General Mills, Soft Sheen).   Colette holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from USC and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School.

    

Kathy Yeung

Kathy Yeung is a passionate entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience working with start-up and early stage companies, primarily in the internet marketing and e-commerce industries.  Kathy is currently the General Manager of SimplyBridal, a bridal company that began as an e-commerce company, and is now also aggressively growing retail locations.  SimplyBridal is a one-stop shopping experience where couples can purchase exclusively designed wedding gowns, as well as other local wedding services.  Prior to SimplyBridal, Kathy was VP of Operations at Oversee.net, an internet advertising technology company.  In this role, Kathy was part of the senior management team that led company growth from $60M to $240M in 3 years.  Kathy is also deeply invested in education reform.  She has spent the last five years advising various education start-up companies, and was previously a Chair and Founding Board Member of KIPP LA Prep Charter School. She is currently involved with LA Social Venture Partners.  Kathy has an MBA from The UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a B.A. in Economics from UCLA.

Natasha Case

Natasha Case founded Coolhaus in 2009 with Freya Estreller after she was working in architecture at Walt Disney Imagineering. They launched their architecturally-inspired, gourmet ice cream sandwich company from their barely drive-able postal van at the Coachella Music Festival to an audience of 100,000. They built a loyal following over the festival weekend and returned to LA to an abundance of viral press, a rapidly building social media following, and an eager foodie audience. Since then, Natasha has been named a Forbes 30 under 30 &  Zagat 30 Under 30, as well as being featured in many national publications and TV shows including Food Network’s Chopped and King of Cones, and Andy Cohen Live. The company has become one of the leading innovative small dessert businesses, growing significantly to include 4 trucks and 2 storefronts in LA, 2 trucks and one cart in NYC, 2 trucks in Austin, and 2 trucks in Dallas, Texas. Moreover, consumers can now find Coolhaus’ pre-packaged ice cream sandwiches, hand-dipped bars, and hand-packed pints in 4,000+ gourmet grocery stores nationally, including Whole Foods and Sprouts, and larger retailers like Kroger and Safeway.

 

Today Natasha works as the CEO of Coolhaus, creating new product opportunities, building new relationships and innovating ideas that keep Coolhaus on top of it's game as zealous expansion continues.
