UCLA Anderson Alumni Career Services in partnership with executive leadership coach and facilitator Melissa Karz (’98) presents a two-part series workshop of three-hour sessions to help professional women create a career marketing plan focused on the successful integration of women and work.
These sessions will provide a forum for those who want to refocus their career to develop strategies for managing their career, complex lifestyle, and change. For some, this may mean making simple adjustments to a current career lifestyle. For others, this may mean a job transition or even relocation.
Session 1 - September 9th

Session 2 - September 22nd

Building Your Career Marketing Plan, Addressing Balance, and Networking
- Sharing Key Elements of Your Marketing Plan
- Receiving Resume Feedback
- Solidifying Your Positioning Statement and Target List
- Clarifying Your Absolutes and Deal Breakers
Participants will receive a copy of the Next Step Partners Career Handbook for Working Professionals and work through a career marketing plan that includes targeted companies, job titles, resumes, positioning statements, plus more to kick their job search into high gear. In addition, alumna who are interested in continuing the job search can join an Alumni Career Transition (ACT) job search team starting on October 6 free of charge.

She partners with her clients to leverage and develop the strengths, competencies, and knowledge necessary for success in the following areas: assimilating into new and expanded roles, effective leadership, successful career transition and team effectiveness.
