About the webinar:

LinkedIn has over 260 million members and is the de facto leader in the online professional networking space. Much has changed over the years, especially in the last two years. Favorite features have been retired and the LinkedIn profile has changed considerably. Has your online networking strategy kept up with the changes on LinkedIn?

In this webinar we’ll go through the most important parts of a current LinkedIn strategy. We’ll go over the most critical foundation (building a strong profile), and add proactive strategies from there. When we are done you should have a great outline for your own strategy, whether you have a few minutes or a few hours a week to spend on LinkedIn.

Please send any questions you have to Jason@JibberJobber.com. If you are willing to have your profile critiqued in front of the audience on this webinar, please email your profile URL to Jason as soon as possible.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to create a great profile that is easier to find and will brand you better
  • How to use LinkedIn groups to share your brand with your target audience
  • Where to find contacts that you should start a professional relationship with
  • How to communicate with people you find on LinkedIn

About Jason Alba:

In 2006 Jason was laid off from his position as general manager and his dream of being a CEO of some big company was forever altered. His resulting job search was fruitless and frustrating, and he decided to analyze and understand what he was doing wrong and what he should do to at least land an interview. This analysis led to creating JibberJobber.com, a website to help job seekers organize their job search, and professionals to organize and follow-up with their professional relationships. Jason wrote a book titled I’m On LinkedIn – Now What??? to help his JibberJobber users understand how to get value out of LinkedIn. The 4th edition will be available soon (he turned it into his publisher on January 6th). Jason has done hundreds of presentations on LinkedIn since his book has come out. He recently wrote the book 51 Alternatives to a Real Job, which is a collection of ideas and examples from people who have created multiple revenue streams outside of a mainstream career path.
