Wondering what’s next in your life? Thinking about doing work you feel good about? Join us for a town hall-style event celebrating the publication of The Encore Career Handbook: How to Make a Living and a Difference in the Second Half of Life.
Fawn Ring (GJ06) will conduct an interview with the book's author, Marci Alboher, followed by a panel featuring several Chicago-area professionals who have transitioned into encore careers – second acts for the greater good.
During the networking reception, you will get a chance to meet local encore leaders and mingle with people working as social entrepreneurs, in nonprofits and in various encore-friendly fields, such as education, health care and the environment.
