Please join us for the monthly UCLA Anderson Alumni Network in Downtown Los Angeles.
This month’s meeting will be on Friday February 15, 2013 where our guest speaker will be Cindy Johnson, founder of the Cindy Johnson Law Group, a law firm specializing in estate planning and probate as well as entertainment contract negotiations. Ms. Johnson will provide a presentation on “What Hollywood Stars Leave Behind After Their Final Curtain Call” as well as other estate planning tips for the not so rich and famous.
Cindy received her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. Her passion for working in the field of Entertainment Law inspired her to continue her studies, and she received a Masters Degree in Entertainment Law from her alma mater’s Don Biederman Entertainment & Media Law Institute.
In her life before law, Cindy worked successfully in front of the camera, and behind it as a producer for a live talk show, “The Carol Lawrence Show”; as an actress starring in hundreds of national radio and television commercials, including surfing on a ironing board for York Peppermint Patty; and as a professional cheerleader dancing for the Portland Trailblazers NBA Team.
The meetings will include brief introductions by attendees, presentation by guest speaker and group discussion. Our goal at these networking lunches are to, “Feed your mind, feed your stomach and feed your network!”
