UCLA Anderson Alumni Association of San Diego has organized a private factory tour of Taylor Guitar in El Cajon, followed by a Q&A discussion session with their CFO, Barbara Wright. Opportunities for networking will continue with a lunch included in the price of registration at Casa de Pico.
The Taylor Guitars factory tour takes guests through the steps of guitar construction. From wood selection to final assembly, guests will experience each process as a guitar evolves from raw wood into a finished instrument. While not physically demanding, the tour does include a fair amount of walking and climbing a short flight of stairs. Due to the technical nature, the tour may not be suitable for small children. Please contact Ellen Chen ahead of time if you have any physical restrictions.
Following our tour, Taylor Guitar’s CFO, Barbara Wright, will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding one of the most successful guitar manufacturers in the country. Outstanding playability, flawless craftsmanship, and stunning aesthetics are just a few of the reasons that many of today’s leading musicians make Taylor their guitar of choice. The company’s artist roster numbers in the thousands, and includes the likes of Dave Matthews, Taylor Swift, Prince, Jason Mraz, and Zac Brown, among many others.

Please check-in at the receptionist desk in the lobby of their main building at least 15 minutes before 11am to ensure that you don’t miss the tour. The tour will take approximately 1.5 hours and we’ll move into the 1 hour Q&A session in Taylor Guitar’s Marketing and Event room starting from 12:30 to 1:30pm.
Lunch: For those who would like to continue networking with your fellow Anderson Alumni, we will be having lunch (included in the price of registration) at Casa de Pico at 1:30pm, located at 5500 Grossmont Center Drive, La Mesa, CA.
