ABOUT Richard colback ('01):
Richard Colback is the Founder and President of Epic States, a business intelligence, strategy and monitoring consultancy focusing on the use of social media technologies for businesses. He has over 15 years experience in consulting with a broad range of businesses, and his prior experience includes working as a strategic consultant with Bain and Company and Booker Tate. His company provides training and advisory support to executives within medium and large-scale businesses to enable them to manage the internal transition from traditional to new media marketing. His company also holds a workshop series for small businesses (BizSoMe) providing practical uses and applications of social technologies. Richard has taught summer classes at UCLA, is an Adjunct Professor at University of San Francisco, and has an upcoming social media series on Lynda.com. He received his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
