Investor and Chairman, Maker Studios
Ynon is an investor in several digital media companies and is acting as Chairman for Maker Studios (Los Angeles), the largest multichannel networks on YouTube, MediaKraft (Munich) the largest multichannel network on YouTube in Germany and Cortica (NY), which developed a highly advanced image recognition technology.
Between 2008 and June 2011, Ynon was the Chairman & CEO of the Endemol group. Endemol is the world's largest independent television production company and a global leader in entertainment programming. The Endemol group comprises an international network of 80 companies in 31 countries.
Prior to joining Endemol, Ynon worked as an investor in the media industry. He served on the Supervisory Board of the leading German broadcasting group ProSiebenSat1 and between 2005 and 2007 was a General Partner at Balderton Capital.
Between 1997 and 2002 Ynon was Chairman & CEO of Fox Kids Europe (FKE), which he co-founded with Haim Saban. FKE was listed on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Amsterdam in 1999 and was sold to the Walt Disney Company in 2001.
