Previous Experience

Kalon spent the last decade in senior business development, brand management and B2B/B2C marketing roles. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds, Kalon served as Vice President, Business Development for JCPenney and ZoomSystems Automated Retail, and Co-Founded Bixbee, an e-commerce led global consumer products company with a social mission. Kalon's experience is rooted in brand management/product development in the beauty and luxury packaged goods spaces at L'Oreal and Givaudan and e-business consulting at Andersen, LLP. Past partners include Ralph Lauren, Estee Lauder, The Body Shop, LEGO, Bliss, Avon, Reebok, Jockey, Bath & Body Works, Procter & Gamble, Sephora and Neutrogena. Kalon serves as an advisor to early stage technology-enabled retail and consumer product companies and is a blogger for the Huffington Post.

Kalon received his B.A. in Urban Studies from the University of California, San Diego and his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Business.
