Career Coach for Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, Karie maintains a private coaching practice with a specialty in providing telephone coaching to alumni of top tier MBA programs nationwide. With more than 10 years' experience in career and job search strategy consulting across a wide range of industries, Karie provides coaching on all aspects of career development and job search management, including strategy creation for job search and career transition, reentering the workforce, networking, resume review and refinement, interview preparation, and negotiating job offers and promotions. She served as an Associate Director for Kellogg's Career Management Center from 2002 - 2007, where she worked with students, alumni, and companies recruiting at the school.
Prior to joining Kellogg, Karie was a Vice President in the Chicago offices of Lee Hecht Harrison, a global career development and leadership consulting firm, where she worked with senior executives, managers, and associates from a broad array of industries and functions, including marketing, finance, technology and healthcare. Her work with Lee Hecht Harrison also included presenting numerous seminars and workshops, executive coaching, and managing training and certification initiatives for all local professional staff.
With additional background as an educator, corporate trainer, professional editor, instructional designer, and writing consultant, Karie holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MA from the University of Chicago.
Ron brings a wealth of experience to workforce development, organizational consulting and individual career counseling and coaching. Ron's organizational consulting practice, Elsdon Organizational Renewal (EOR), integrates organizational assessment processes with workforce and leadership development approaches to strengthen and revitalize organizations in both non-profit and public sector settings. His career counseling and coaching practice, New Beginnings Career and College Guidance, provides caring and personalized support to individuals in creating a meaningful path forward. Ron provides career counseling and coaching for students and alumni of the UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business and delivers many workshops on career related topics to these groups.
Ron has more than 20 years of leadership experience working with U.S. and international organizations in a broad range of sectors (e.g. biotechnology, semiconductors, chemicals, healthcare, energy and textiles). His responsibilities have included workforce and leadership development, general management for portfolios of growing businesses and management of business development, research and development, marketing, sales and operations. Ron founded or led practices for DBM, a human resource consulting firm, supporting organizations in improving workforce and leadership effectiveness and senior executives in transition. He was also a general manager in the electronics division of Air Liquide America Corporation, and was with Amoco Chemical Company for 18 years, most recently as Director of Research and Development.
Ron is an adjunct faculty member at John F. Kennedy University, has been on the adjunct faculty of Santa Clara University and is affiliated with Vanderbilt University. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University, a Master's degree in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University, and a first class honors degree in Chemical Engineering from Leeds University.
Andrew's expertise focuses on career transition coaching with a special emphasis on communication strategies, particularly the development of targeted career objectives, results-oriented resumes and effective presentation skills. Andrew's experience in the career transition field began in 1980 as an executive recruiter. In 1992, he joined Lee Hecht Harrison, an international career management firm; he left the firm in 2012 as an SVP, Career Coach to focus on his own Career Coaching practice.
His career reaffirms that people can reassess their professional and life goals, then find more satisfying and rewarding employment. Andrew's career journey began as a professional musician, playing with two influential groups ¾ Dick Dale and the Del Tones and the Righteous Brothers. His musical career ended abruptly when he was drafted. He entered Officer Candidate School and served eight years in a variety of command and staff positions, including tours of duty in Germany and Vietnam. As a U.S. Army officer, Andrew gained rich experiences in leadership and team building. He was selected to lead the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team that accompanied President Nixon during his meetings in Paris with then French President Charles de Gaulle. Following his military service, Andrew worked in public accounting with Kenneth Leventhal & Co. (now Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group).
After reassessing his life and business goals, Andrew made his own rewarding transition into the career management field, first as an executive recruiter, and later as a career coach. He is a certified Career Management Practitioner and former President of the Association of Career Professionals International (ACPI), Orange County Chapter.
Andrew frequently serves as a guest lecturer and panelist on career transition issues. He is also active with local colleges and universities. A cum laude graduate of California State University, Fullerton's College of Business and Economics, Andrew also received the Arthur Young Award for academic excellence.

Michelle's career includes 15 years of global marketing experience. She has developed considerable expertise in multiple industries, from packaged goods at Mattel, Inc., the world's leading toy manufacturer, to advertising with Sagon-Phior Group, a division of Dailey and Associates, to entertainment with Disney Consumer Products Group and Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.
Michelle successfully transitioned her career to the University of Southern California where she was an Associate Director at the Marshall School of Business - Career Resource Center. At Marshall, she directed the relationship marketing efforts and developed a marketing plan which enhanced campus recruitment efforts with existing partners such as Mattel, Inc., Nestle, Neutrogena, Johnson and Johnson and Del Monte. She also expanded their partners to include Con Agra, Black and Decker and L'Oreal, successfully bringing these companies to recruit from Marshall. In addition, she coached, trained and mentored for four programs within the community representing approximately 1,700 students. This was accomplished through one-on-one sessions and targeted workshops, providing practical education to students and alumni in the area of marketing within many industries.
Michelle consulted in the packaged goods arena for Disney Consumer Products Group, where she devised a plan to enter a billion-dollar industry, ultimately increasing market share internationally. At Mattel, she led brand management teams in successfully developing and launching several brands responsible for generating over $500 million dollars in worldwide sales, including Harry Potter, Winnie the Pooh and the company's staple brand, Barbie. Through her advertising background, Michelle has honed her extensive account management expertise, serving such clients as Nestle, Ford, Disney, Sony Corporation and Cablevision, which encompasses nine cable networks including American Movie Classics and the Independent Film Channel.
Michelle launched her career in worldwide marketing at Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. in both Home Video and Theatrical which is now a division of Warner Bros. There she oversaw the marketing campaigns, event planning and creative direction for all the elements in the marketing mix. She was promoted four times in five years.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California.
