Susan Love, EMBA 1998
Breast Cancer Advocate and Change Agent
She has but a single goal: to eradicate breast cancer. It's a passion that has driven Love to launch the Faulkner Breast Center in Boston, the Revlon UCLA Breast Center in Los Angeles, and the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. As a surgeon, researcher, entrepreneur, author, advocate, activist, and pioneer, Love employs all of the weapons at her disposal in an effort to achieve her goal. She has sought new approaches to tackling a disease that continues to kill women. Her ability to enlist over 350,000 women to join the Love Avon Army of Women, for example, has created a rich resource for researchers and her goal to go beyond the cure to find the cause. Love also started a for-profit medical device company called ProDuct Health (later acquired by Cytyc, Inc.), and sits on numerous boards.
