Richard CrowellThe 2009 John E. Anderson Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Crowell founded Vance Street Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm that invests in profitable middle-market companies with enterprise values ranging from $50-$200 million. Preferred industries include aerospace and defense, precision manufacturing and healthcare products.  Prior to founding Vance Street in 2007, Crowell co-founded and served as president of Aurora Capital Group for 16 years.  Crowell serves on the Executive Committee of the UCLA Anderson Board of Visitors and the UCLA Santa Monica hospital.   In the past he served as the Board Chair for Marymount High school, and as a Board member for the University of California Santa Cruz campus and the Crossroads School.  Crowell, himself a generous benefactor of UCLA Anderson, co-chairs the Accelerate Campaign for UCLA Anderson.
