Lester Korn is a founder of Korn/Ferry International, the world's largest executive recruiting firm, and was CEO of the company from 1969 to 1991. During 1987 and 1988, Korn served as ambassador to the United Nations and as the United States representative to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. He served as the alternate delegate to the 42nd and 43rd General Assemblies of the United Nations. Korn, the 2010 John E. Anderson Distinguished Alumnus Award winner, is currently chairman/CEO of Korn Capital Group and Korn Turtle Capital Group and a member of the UCLA Anderson Board of Visitors. In December 1988, the convocation hall in UCLA Anderson's new complex was named after Korn and his wife Carolbeth in recognition of their contributions to the school.
