International Marketing Thought Leader
Pauwels is a marketing thought leader, recognized with the 2007 William F. O'Dell Award for the most influential marketing paper of the previous five years and with the 2009 Varadarajan Award for Early Career Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research. Pauwels recently left behind a prolific career as a marketing professor at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Management to build the start-up university of Ozyegin University in Istanbul, Turkey.
