Led Campaign Anderson's Fundraising Effort During the "Homestretch".
Hagopian feels a strong obligation to give back to UCLA Anderson, the school that provided him the education that jump-started his career. Hagopian has remained closely connected to his alma mater for almost three decades. He is currently a member of the Anderson's Board of Visitors and its Executive Committee. In 2005 he took over as Vice Chair of Campaign Anderson's fundraising during the last 10 months of the campaign, leading an effort that exceeded the campaign's fundraising goal. In 2006 Hagopian received the John E. Anderson Distinguished Alumnus Award. Hagopian was a co-founder of Brentwood Associates, one of the nation's largest and most successful venture capital and private equity firms. He is currently Managing Partner of Apple/Oaks Partners LLC, a private investment company he founded and co-owns with one of his Brentwood co-founders; and is Chairman of the Board of Maxim Integrated Products, a Fortune's 500 semiconductor company headquartered in Silicon Valley.
