Who We Are & What We Do

Access Services

Access Services manages our Rosenfeld Library facility and our collections. They circulate materials including class reserves, coordinate document delivery and interlibrary loans, and provide the daily maintenance for student networked printers. Access Services is the front line to providing good stewardship for Rosenfeld's collaborative team spaces including managing reservations for some group rooms.

AndersoNet, the computer network at UCLA Anderson, is the combination of network infrastructure (routers, switches, and wireless access points), network servers, and security systems. AndersoNet administrators monitor the 3,000+ network ports and 30+ servers round the clock and work hard to maintain a safe and robust network environment. Classrooms at UCLA Anderson combine technology with academia to form an electronic learning environment for MBA students. When leveraged through the use of laptop computers, AndersoNet provides the technology foundation that MBA and MFE students need to engage real-life issues head-on. Both wired and wireless access is available within the complex.

CS Response
The CS Response group provides technology support to faculty, staff and doctoral students in the UCLA Anderson complex. Services include: Desktop and laptop computer support, classroom technology support, assistance with computer specifications and ordering, and software installation and configuration. Through our desktop management system, CS Response can also provide automated installation and updating of software and remote assistance.

Reference and Instructional Services
Librarians select items, including print materials and online databases, for our collections and offer assistance to efficiently and effectively use what we have collected. Individual assistance is offered in-person, by telephone, through instant messaging, virtually, and in scheduled consultation programs. Group assistance is offered in workshops and in-class presentations. Rosenfeld Librarians offer customized research strategies, created in collaboration with the course instructor, for course projects and assignments.

Student Technology Services
Student Technology Services provides technology support to UCLA Anderson MBAs in all three programs and to MFEs. The Anderson student's laptop computer is an important tool for analyzing and communicating, and it enriches the learning experience. Our job is to provide the information and assistance needed by MBAs and MFEs to keep laptops running efficiently. We understand the time pressures and challenges that Anderson MBAs and MFEs face, so we design our services to make things as easy as possible to keep your computer fully functional.
