Ravi Aron
Dr. Aron is a member of the Information and Operations Management Department at USC's Marshall School of Business and a Senior Fellow of the Center for Technological Innovation at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. His research addresses the globalization of IT-enabled services, global supply chains of knowledge and services, and how nations use information and communications technologiy to create effective business environments.
He has served in IT management postions with Citicorp and founded an India-based software development firm. He has consulted in the United Kingdom and throughout the Far East, in the U.S. with Deutsche Bank, ING Barings, McKinsey & Co. and Paine Weber. His publications and speaking engagements include presentations at the World Economic Forum at Davos in 2005 and 2006. He is the recipient of such honors as the Wharton School's David Hauck Award for teaching excellence.
Dr. Aron received his MBA (PGDIM) from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore specializing in Finance and Marketing, and his Masters and Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Stern School at New York University.
