Economic Trends and Capital Markets in Latin America
The world has put its eyes on Latin America as most of the countries in the region have embarked on promising paths of macroeconomic stability and growth. It is not only Mexico and Brazil that have gained the attention of financial analysts and economists, but it is also the countries in the Pacific Rim of South America, such as Colombia, Peru and Chile that have expereinced impressive economic performance over recent years. However, the region is still experiencing sharp social inequalities, and more governments face increasing social demands as their countries become more affluent. How to navigate such a challenging environment is a critical question.
The 2013 Latin American Business Conference will provide important insights from influential leaders in the region on key economic issues that the region currently faces and will continue to experience in the coming years. The Conference also will address the integration of capital markets in Latin America, which is one of the main current tendencies in the region.
