African-American Students in Management (AASM)
AASM's goal is to increase the personal networks of its members and raise corporate awareness to the pool of talented African Americans at Anderson. To this end, AASM develops relationships with alumni and corporations committed to diversity and other professional organizations, in order to expose its members to African American business leaders.
International Business Association (IBA)
IBA's mission is to promote an international business agenda at UCLA Anderson, engaging the school community in global business trends, creating interest in potential career channels around the globe, and fostering a view of the world where countries can coexist in peace and equality. To create opportunities for international networking and career growth, to stimulate interest in global issues and to share different cultures within the Anderson community, the IBA works closely with UCLA Anderson's Center for Global Management / UCLA CIBER, the Parker Career Management Center, the school's international alumni network, as well as faculty members, international representatives and other student clubs.
UCLA Anderson Net Impact is the UCLA chapter of the national Net Impact organization, whose mission is to build a network of leaders committed to using the power of business to make a positive net social, environmental and economic impact. The group is comprised of students who want to put their business skills to use in a positive way, whether by incorporating environmental management practices into a large corporation, bringing microfinance to developing countries, working for a small non-profit, or launching into the world of social entrepreneurship. To meet the needs of its diverse membership, UCLA Anderson Net Impact often partners with industry-specific clubs and other UCLA graduate schools, including Public Policy, Urban Planning, and Public Health. In addition, it offers conferences, a speaker series, and social events. Net Impact's goal is to help its members obtain full-time employment and internship opportunities across a broad range of industries and functions where they can apply their MBA skill-sets toward solving many of today's biggest challenges.
Center for Global Management (CGM)
The Center for Global Management (CGM) is a new center at UCLA Anderson designed to prepare global leaders for rapidly changing markets and organizations. CGM is the focal point for advancing the school's global agenda, and will serve as the coordinating mechanism for all of the school's global activities. Building upon and integrating the programs and activities established by UCLA CIBER (Center for International Business Education & Research), a federally funded program, CGM will serve to promote and impart a global management mindset in students, faculty, alumni and the broader community through research, teaching, and community engagement in issues that are central to the global agenda for management. The Center will foster learning, thought leadership and connections and will enhance the visibility and impact of UCLA Anderson's global footprint.
