Oversees Worldwide Humanitarian Work for His Family's Foundation

Carrying on a family legacy to help the world's disadvantaged and vulnerable people, Hilton joined the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation in 1983 and in 1989, the year he received his MBA from UCLA Anderson, he was elected to the board of directors and named vice president. He became president in 1998 and CEO in 2005. Among other initiatives, the Foundation has pioneered approaches to increase access to safe water and sanitation for millions in developing countries; championed permanent supportive housing as the best, most cost-effective solution to chronic homelessness in the United States; improved educational opportunities for blind children with disabilities in more than 60 countries; and created the world's largest humanitarian award, presented annually to organizations alleviating human suffering.
