Led Walt Disney Motion Pictures and BVI to $1 Billion Box Office Earnings for 12 Years
Zoradi's 30-year career at Disney began in 1980 as marketing coordinator for Walt Disney Home Video at the dawn of the home entertainment boom, he was an integral part of The Disney Channel launch team in 1983. In 1985, Zoradi entered the motion picture business as director of sales for Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. He was soon named vice president and general manager of Buena Vista Television, leading its rapid growth from 1987 to 1992. Zoradi was then asked to establish a stand-alone international theatrical marketing and distribution organization, Buena Vista International. Under his leadership as president, BVI and later Walt Disney Motion Pictures shattered industry records by earning more than $1 billion at the international box office for 12 consecutive years. He oversaw the worldwide distribution and marketing of all Walt Disney Studio films. Zoradi received the Louis B. Mayer Motion Picture Business Leader of the Year Award from UCLA Anderson in 2009. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Westmont College, his undergraduate alma mater, he also serves on the Board of Directors for Providence Health and Services in Los Angeles, and the National Board of Directors for Young Life.
